Anonymous Ism is a Japanese sock label launched in 2002. Before that, the people behind it spent years knitting socks for other Japanese brands, and the craft shows in the dense, textured yarns and the restored vintage machines used to make them.
Start with the crew socks in herringbone, jacquard and slub patterns, then the thicker winter pairs. They are made to be seen between a cropped trouser and a boot or sneaker. A natural choice for anyone who sees socks as part of the outfit.
