Buy NowThe Anonymous Ism Light Weight Slub Crew Sock carries the same philosophy as the rest of the brand's range – natural materials, considered construction, and a result that feels closer to handmade than mass-produced. A lightweight everyday sock with real character built in.
The yarn composition combines 84% cotton, 15% acrylic, and 1% polyurethane – cotton providing the breathability and softness expected from a everyday crew sock, acrylic adding lightness and colour retention, and a trace of polyurethane for just enough stretch to keep the fit secure throughout the day. The slub yarn introduces natural irregularities across the surface – subtle variations in thickness that catch the light and give the fabric a distinctly organic, almost hand-spun quality.
Knitted on vintage machines from the 1970s, the sock is produced at a pace and precision that modern high-speed knitting cannot replicate. These older machines are responsible for the depth of the patterns, the integrity of the colour, and the tactile quality that distinguishes Anonymous Ism from standard knitwear. A traditional knit pattern runs through the body, finished with ribbed cuffs that hold their shape and keep the sock in place.
